Description: This is an absolutely beautiful Art Deco Biscuit Jar/Barrel made by the Regent Company in England during the 1920’s. It is from the Flosmaron Line and is hand printed to resemble a Chinese garden. The flowers are hand painted in blues, yellows, greens, and reds. There is an original label underneath that reads “Grand Old English China biscuit barrel.” It is marked “Regent, Made in England, Flosmaron.” The Flosmaron line was likely produced at the Thomas Lawrence factory in Longton, Staffordshire, England, which used the trade name Falconware. The biscuit jar is in excellent condition with a tiny bit of loss to the gold on the feet and some rubbing on the metal, but nothing to detract from its beauty. The colors are vibrant, and there are no chips or cracks anywhere. Measures 3.5X6X5.5 inches.
