It is in 18 carat gold with a platinum head and shoulders. The shoulders have decorative detail. It is set with an old European cut diamond which is slightly cushion shaped and approx. 0.6 carats. Inside the band it has an 18ct PLAT hallmark which was typical to the UK in the inter war period. The diamond catches the light nicely and it has decorative work to the bridge.
