In his lifetime Arlie Gray published four books to teach and inspire others to paint. The titles include: "Drawing and Painting Horses", "Still-Life Painting", "Portrait Painting", and "Equine Art How-To." Later in life, he moved Southwest Florida to find his final home in Sarasota. There, Arlie became a cherished part of Sarasota's history. He is best known for his beautiful pictures of Florida's splendor. From beaches to the reaches of its swamps and moss-covered oaks he shared the treasures. Generations to come can shared in his joys of discovery echoed in his wonderful choices of colors combine with his mastery of the brush.
