Description: Vintage Collectible Arjon Clever No. 380 Fly Reel A.B. ARJON, Malung, Sweden Arjon... short from its founder Arvid Jonsson of Malung, Sweden. The company started in 1942 and was called Arjonfabriken for its first seven years, but it incorporated in 1949 as AB Arjon. For three decades it was one of Scandinavia's leading manufacturers of fishing tackle. Over the years, ARJON manufactured some great products that are very collectible today and held in very high regard by collectors all over the world. Here we have a rare vintage 3 1/2" Arjon Clever No. 380 fly reel in used conditions as seen in the pictures. Most probably a trade reel (imported?), marked and packaged as an Arjon product between 1955-1961. It is a well-made, dependable reel, built for hard usage and long service. It has been remarkably well-preserved over the years, and remains in good conditions. This Arjon Clever No. 380 appears to be completely original and fully functional. Durable and reliable design featuring all parts corrosion-proof, a precision machined one-piece frame made of light and long-lasting aluminum, a lightweight aluminum spool, round polished line guarding edges, a single black handle knob, and an unaltered screwed foot. Mechanically perfect with all controls and adjustments working as intended. No wobbling, no crazy sounds. No cracks, no missing parts. Cosmetically in fairly good overall condition, with some paint wear as seen in the pictures. No markings or personalized engravings. Nice and clean hammered light brown finish, comes with a handsome metallic nameplate on the tail plate. Otherwise in good, solid shape, with no major imperfections. This Arjon Clever No. 380 is a great addition to any fisherman's use or valuable collection, and is sure to impress with its classic design and high-quality craftsmanship.
