Hannan's invocation during the ceremony; seating charts of dignitaries attending the event; background on the conception and planning behind the Center, and more. The Kennedy Center is the busiest performing arts center in The United States and represented the first time that the Federal Government financed construction of a building devoted to the performing arts.
