Description: Mid-Century black and gray glaze handthrown ceramic vase by Liisa Hallamaa. Outside is black glaze, inside is gray glaze. Most propably designed as vase but the shape is made in a way it sits very well on hands so I believe it's heavily influenced by Asian tea ceremony and can be considered as teabowl or chawan. Made at Arabia Finland. Handthrown in 1950s. Signed "Arabia LH. Vase stands approx 10.5 cm (4'15") tall with the widest diameter of 10.5 cm (4'15"). In excellent condition without any defects.
