It is done in a very lightweight, semi-sheer woven fabric that does not have any stretch to it. It is black with a multi-lines pattern. It is sleeveless, but has a 10 inch extended shoulder seam to give you the look of a short sleeve. See photo. It buttons down the front with black buttons and an extra button is included. There is a placket covering the row of buttons down the front, giving it a dressier look. It is 25 3/4 inches long, measured down the center-back.
