Description: Your circuit breaker panel in you house or apartment is use to do two things, split the phase and house the circuit breakers.. Splitting the phase takes the 250v main bus coming into the panel and splits it into two separate 125v busses. All we are doing here is externally wiring this back together just like a two pole 250v two pole breaker does inside the panel. ( Look at my listing pictures of the breaker panel, we need to use any two breakers, one red and one green. This means one of your homes standard 125v light socket attached to a green breaker and a second tied to a red breaker. I have color labeled them to show how the breakers are laid out in all panels. Most modern phone or computer chargers with a light will work as a voltage test indicator. You must look at the label on the phone adapter to make sure the input voltage says 100-260v. Most of these devices are designed to be used around the world and can handle a wide input voltage.. The phone adapter will not power up until it sees 250v by design of my setup, when it does you have it right..
