WHICH I BELIEVE IS WILLIAM COMYNS. I HAVE HELD THE CLIP UP TO THE LIGHT SO YOU COULD SEE HOW BEAUTIFUL THE COLOR AND GRAIN IS. IT LOOKS VERY SIMILAR TO TORTOISE. IT HAS A STERLING SILVER SPRING HINGE WHICH WORKS PERFECTLY. IT IS IN AWESOME ANTIQUE CONDITION WITH ONLY NORMAL AGE RELATED WEAR. THERE IS ONE NUT AND WASHER MISSING ON THE BACK. AWESOME PIECE ! THESE VICTORIAN CLIPS ARE VERY MUCH SOUGHT AFTER ! BECAUSE MOST OF MY ITEMS ARE OVER 100 YEARS OLD, EXPECT TO SEE SOME AGE-RELATED WEAR OR A LITTLE IMPERFECTION HERE AND THERE ESPECIALLY ON LACE OR FABRIC.
