Description: This is a set of antique Yoruba gilded brass beads which were handmade by Yoruba metalsmiths in Nigeria and were collected from Africa. The smaller round granulated beads are in fair condition with a few holes in the metal and some being misshapen. The cylinder beads are in great condition with wear. Most of the gilding has worn off most of these beads. This metal bead set's longest bead measures 0.77 inches long by 0.19 inches wide. This antique bead set would look great in jewelry applications or would be perfect for adding to any African trade bead collection.
