Description: This is a set of antique Yoruba gilded brass beads which were handmade by Yoruba metalsmiths in Nigeria and were collected from Africa. The round granulated beads are in good condition with a some small holes in the metal. The larger cylinder beads are in fair condition with the center one being very dented in, having a small hole in the metal and having the ends a bit blown out, another has two small holes in the metal and the third is missing a bit of twisted wire decoration. This metal bead set's center bead measures 1.47 inches long by 0.33 inches wide. This antique bead set would look great in jewelry applications or would be perfect for adding to any African trade bead collection.
