Description: This is a very rare, very early wristlet watch. The early form of wristwatch. The leather is in very good condition, and is soft and flexible. The watch itself is a very pretty silver pocket watch with ornate engraving designs covering the case. It also has initials engraved inside the back cover. The watch would need repair as it is missing the front glass, one of the hands and does not appear to run. From my understanding, these watches were first worn by soldiers in the trenches during WW1 as well as people riding bicycles and horses, etc. I've found very few of these available, so I'm sure it would make a lovely addition to someone's collection.
