Dustin each had their own company until around 1878, when together they formed Wright & Ditson. They sold domestic and imported sporting goods and related items such as clothing and shoes. Wright claimed to be the first importer of tennis equipment. Although Wright & Ditson was purchased by Spalding in 1891, rackets, equipment, lawn tennis guides, and catalogs continued under the Wright & Ditson name through the 1930’s.
