Description: Antique WHITE IRONSTONE 9" Paneled WATER Pitcher ENGLISH STAFFORDSHIRE Click images to enlarge Description WONDERFUL ANTIQUE IRONSTONE PITCHER Lovely antique glossy white ironstone water pitcher measuring 9" in height. Featuring a paneled/flared shape with graceful scalloping around the top, molded handle with leaf accent thumb rest and octagonal flat foot, it bears an English registry mark dating between 1842 and 1883 - I cannot make out the detail. Condition is wonderful with no chips, cracks, hairlines, etc. - there is a production flaw that appears as a line by the bottom of the handle - it is slightly yellow from age, but is not a repair - simply a flaw - one tiny chip on the bottom edge underneath the glaze and a pit on the bottom edge as well - I've shown all three minor issues. Other than a tiny black spot, also from production, it is clean, sturdy, and without damage - a beautiful piece with graceful lines. Just a charming antique pitcher - the perfect size for an arrangement of flowers in any farmhouse country home - wonderful addition to any ironstone collection or display!
