From an estate in Tarrytown, New York.Sold to either to use as it is now (electrified - please check wiring before use) or to convert back to a lamp stand. Wood is heavy, solid, and beautifully turned with a wonderful old patina. Looks like cherry or mahogany to me. Fine, silky surface to the wood, with no varnish or recent additions. Old oil finish present.Currently there is a vintage clear cord, old brown plug and candle socket. Wiring needs to be checked for safety before use.SIZE ------- approximate size:10.25” tall x 3.5” diameter, wood portion only, approx.Top measures 3” diameter, edge to edge.
