No lighting unit, just the bronze safety cage and glass shade globe. Dates around the 1920s. Maker is EHG. Marked with maker and numbers on cage. The cage is threaded. Glass shade is original or at least period. The shade is frosted to help diffuse the light. The globe has a blue mark I can't make out. There is also some relief molded letters on inner rim of glass shade that I can't make out. Untouched patina on bronze. Fair to good condition for age. No damage to bronze Cage, just untouched patina. Glass shade with no chips, or cracks. There are areas of discoloration on shade. A few rough patches on outside of glass shade. Nice antique or almost antique bronze Cage with glass globe. Selling as pictured with only the bronze Cage and Glass globe included in purchase. Nice bronze nautical lighting safety cage with frosted glass shade ready for restoration project or to repurpose. Overall measures about 5 3/4" tall at extremes and about 5 1/4" in diameter on the outer base of bronze cage. If a piece is not dated, the exact date is approximate and a guestimation.
