Description: Please email with any questions. Antique corkscrew marked "J PERILLE Bte S.G.D.G. PARIS" on one side of the handle. It is probably marked similarly on the other side, within a circle. The metal is corroded on the second side making the mark illegible. It is an all steel corkscrew with three-sided wingnut which is loosely connected allowing movement at the top of the open frame. To use, you insert the screw into the cork turn the upper handle clockwise then to pull the cork you twist the three-sided wingnut clockwise which raises the cork from the bottle. Measures; 2.75” tall, 3.5” wide, wear to finish.
