Description: Provenance is penned to the quilt and states it was made in either 1917 or 1919. I’d agree for the top but based on the added polka dot border fabric, backing, and binding I’d say it was finished a bit later. Bat is poly and it is hand quilted. Only minor discolorations noted. Looks like it’s just been stored, cotton is still crisp and batting still fluffy so I’d say never washed. Because it has not been washed, I’m keeping it that way— expect low to light vintage odor. It has had a trip in my ozone room. Measures 86”x84”
