Description: Antique Victorian Solid Silver Aide Memoire Original Fitted Case, F Marson, 1894 DescriptionAntique Victorian solid sterling silver Aide Memoire. Rectangular shaped case decorated with bright cut hand chased geometric pattern decoration on the front & back & a scalloped edge around the outside on both sides. Vacant circular cartouche on the front & back with a push button catch on the side to open the hinged lid. Inside is a tan leather lined interior with three card pockets, an ivorine note leaf & a silver propelling pencil which is in working condition. The Aide Memoire comes complete with it's original blue vinyl covered case with blue velvet lined inside & retailed by Parkin & Gotto of Oxford Street, London.
