Description: This is an antique Victorian rocking upholstered gout foot stool with a maple frame. It has recently been reupholstered with a beige braid trim. A medallion is on each side there the rockers cross. The stool was used to relieve pain from a gout attack. The rocking movement was believed to help gout. This is a beautiful stool, the upholstery work is well done and it is in very good shape.
