Description: Antique Victorian ladies pocket watch chain. Our long slide chain is fitted with a swivel hook to act as a bail to display your pocket watch or locket. This gold fill long locket chain measures app 50'' with the swivel hook adding 5/8''. Back in the day the ladies wore these chains looped twice around the neck with the chain caught in the hook. It is adorned with a four sided slide. Each side is embelished with a notched out star burst . The stars are set with tiny glass stones , three blue and one red which may be a replacement. Very unusual, it reminds me of the owl slides. Our circa 1900 chain exhibits age appropriate wear.
