Description: Up for sale Antique Victorian French Enamel Vermeil Silver Perfume Scent Bottle France/c1860. It is made of enamel on silver and Vermeil on silver with stunning quality! The style is typical of the Limoges region of France, around the middle of the 19th century. The body, as well as the cap, are hand-decorated with multi-colored enamel, depicting a scene of a girl knitting and chicks helping her against a background of beautiful floral motifs. The quality, variety, and color of the motifs are impressive. I found French hallmarks on the top and bottom of the hinge. The perfume bottle is in mint condition with the original glass stopper and the cap closes very tightly.
