Description: For sale : an antique Victorian British silver plated teapot made by William Page and Company of Birmingham. This ornate piece stands on four feet and measures 11.25 inches tall. The capacity is 2 quarts. The makers mark is stamped into the bottom of the pot. This teapot is over a hundred years old. Due to age and use most of the silver plating has worn off. In addition the center part of the handle is loose at one end and needs to be reattached. This can be seen in one of the pictures. So for practical use the handle should be held by the sides to avoid stressing the center section. Otherwise this teapot works great as a distinctive decor item for display.
