Description: Antique I.E. & C. Co. Japan Hand-Painted Porcelain Vase with beautiful gold detailing. Overall good condition. It does have a small chip and light crack on the upper rim but not very noticeable when displayed and still beautiful. This a rare and special piece. Porcelain bearing the IE&C Co. hallmark spans a period of time inclusive of what Nippon collectorslike to refer to as pre-Nippon, Nippon and post-Nippon. To be more specific, a timeline of approximately 40 years from 1885 to 1925. The blue stamp as in this one is even more rare to find and said to be the early hallmark.
