Antique Upright 50 Drawer Letterpress Type-Set Cabinet. Refinished. Hamilton(?)

Description: This auction is for an upright 50-drawer letterpress type-set printer's cabinet. It measures: 84" x 36" x 21 " and therefore occupies just under 6 sqft of floor space. The cabinet was refinished by the previous owner. The finish is shiny but uniform in color. The drawers are numbered from 1-50. All the drawer pulls are the same and say "Hamilton Mfg. Co." though they could be modern replacements. Some drawers had water damage to the bottoms. Any drawer with that damage has had its bottom carefully replaced with modern plywood. All drawers are now structurally solid. The interior of the drawers measure: 30.25" x 14.75" x 1". The center divider of every drawer was removed by the previous owner to meet the storage needs of his collection. I have added lift-out 2"x2" grids to many of the drawers, as can be seen in the photos, to meet the storage needs of my collection. But again, the grids can be lifted out to leave an unbroken space. The cabinet weighs approximately 500 pounds of which about half is due to the 50 drawers. The cabinet is for local pick up only as I cannot prep it for shipping. Please ask any and all questions. I will answer honestly and to the best of my ability. I am not interested in someone buying this cabinet if it is not what they want.
