Description: This Antique VERY OLD Native American Alaskan Tlingit knife with iron blade and animal hide and wood sheath is a true piece of history. Measures total length of 12 inches x 1 1/2 inches wide with an 11 inch knife. Circa: 1840s to 1890s approx. Lots of old leather braided cords; with many losing their surface but still there. Also, there are remnants of animal fur near the top. I would estimate this Alaskan weapon. The sheath is made from very old wood, animal hide, fur, metal engraved with design work. This is NOT a reproduction or tourist piece. The knife's handle is intricately designed and features intricate engravings that showcase the beauty of Native American art. The knife is a collectible item and is perfect for anyone who appreciates the beauty of antique artifacts. See all photographs and details as No Returns. About 150 years old and RARE to ever find anymore.
