Map size opened is 28” x 39”. The book is in Good condition with a split along half the spine. Mild edge wear. Clean text with light corner curling on back leaves. Map opened is 28” x 39”. Map condition is Good with a 3 ¾” fold split off top edge; 6” fold split off bottom edge; 1” tear and 3 chips along bottom edge; a ¼” split off West side with no chips or splits on East edge. 13 splits where horizontal and vertical folds cross with most along two bottom folds. An equally scarce Texas Pocket Map published ca. 1895 is listed for $2250. The 1895 map is considerably smaller in size than the 1905. The 1905 is ideal for linen mounting. Scarce item. Note that photos of the map were shot through Plexiglas.
