Solid, Strong and Heavy.All cast iron items, will show there wear from normal use and age. Scratches, rust spots, specks of old paint and other normal wear.You will notice, some of the original paint has flaked and chipped on both bookends scattered throughout. There is also some small specks of white dried up paint on both bookends. The paint looks as old as the bookends.When you look closely at the Bookends, you will notice one Airplane has more silver color and one Ship is a darker Red color.The original green felt is still on both bookends. Original felt is starting to loosen some, still on good enough for the Antique Lovers.Please see pictures for details.
