Description: Late 1800s spice tin with 5 spice containers inside. Labeled Cloves, Nutmegs, Mace, Spices, and Ginger. Tin is approximately 3.25" tall and 7" wide and the containers inside are about 2" high and 2" wide This reportedly came from a farmhouse in Gettysburg that fed Union troops who were fighting in the area. They may have used spices from this very container! In addition, like most of Gettysburg, the house was also supposed to be haunted by the soldiers who didn't survive the battle and came back to the last place they had a good meal.
