Description: ANTIQUE WOOD SPICE BOX This old small circa 1910 poplar wood sliding lid kitchen spice pinch box (a pinch of this, a pinch of that) measures 4-3/4" long x 3-3/8" wide x 2" tall and weighs about three ounces. It was constructed with rabbet joints and has an easy sliding lid, and nice variable color worn green paint that was a later addition. It was part of a large collection of painted wood boxes most of which were used for kitchen storage. A nice well-preserved spice storage box with good paint! THANKS FOR VISITING LANE'S COUNTRY LARK!
