Description: Antique Set of Three J & G Meakin "Louvre" Flow Blue Plates. This three piece set includes one dinner plate, one salad plate and one saucer. Three plates for one price. Pattern Description: Flow Blue, Dark Blue Flowers & Scrolls, Scalloped Edge, Gold Accent. Made in Hanley, England. The blue printed J & G Meakin Maker's Mark, with the pattern name above the Crown and "Hanley, England" inside the circle, dates to ca. 1890. Condition: The gold trim shows moderate wear. Moderate crazing exists on the two larger plates, but not on the saucer. The largest plate also has a 3/16" x 1/8" small chip on the underside of the rim. See photos.
