Description: ANTIQUE ROYAL COPENHAGEN MOUSE ON SUGAR CUBE FIGURINE WITH DENMARK c.1922 BACKSTAMP. THE DAMAGED FIGURINE HAS EAR CHIPS TO BOTH EARS. THE BACKSTAMP INDICATES c.1922. MEASURES APPROX 1 7/8" INCHES HIGH X 1.5" INCHES WIDE AT WIDEST POINT ON SUGAR CUBE. THIS FIGURINE'S COLOR AND MOLDING IS MUCH DIFFERENT FROM THE OTHER MOLDS MADE LATER, IT IS MUCH FINER AND CLEARER MORE REALISTIC NATURAL MOUSE GREY, THE COLOR IS VERY REALISTIC LIKE THAT OF A REAL MOUSE, HE REALLY LOOKS VERY REAL. DESPITE HIS EAR CHIPS HE STILL LOOKS AND DISPLAYS GREAT ON ANY FLAT SURFACE. IF NOT ADOPTED I WILL DECIDE TO JUST KEEP HIM DISPLAYED IN OUR CURIO. TO A PROFESSIONAL CURATOR THE EAR DAMAGE WOULD BE AN EASY REPAIR BUT I WOULD LEAVE THAT WAY AND IS WHY I NEVER REPAIRED. THIS LITTLE TINY MOUSE WAS FOUND HIDING IN A BOX OF JUNK ON ONE OF MY MANY VISITS TO LOCAL FLEA MARKET TO BE TOSSED AWAY FOR TRASH COLLECTION.
