Description: The antique enamel cloisonné teapot was made at a 19th C famous Beijing workshop Tong Shan Tang. Not Beijing Masters, but unlike the handful at the time, they had good workmanship and gilt the cells.By examining the enamel cloisonné (no synthetic fill) workmanship, colors, and details ~ this is an authentic antique. The teapot has been cleaned, but the natural patina has been left for collectors. Old Cloisonné was stored by being covered and then set in saw dust. Because of the inside residue, the inside was cleaned. The teapot can be cleaned to a mint finish that is up to the individual buyer but the natural patina can never be replaced.The teapot is in perfect condition ~ was never displayed nor used.The Cloisonné teapot measures 5-1/2" high, 4" bottom diameter and 7-1/2" across to spout.The pictures are your description so look closely.
