Ir was designed after Edwin Landseer’s “Monarch of the Glen” painting, which was completed in 1851. The piece depicts a red deer stag within a natural setting. The reverse reads “etching on charred wood, subject: The Monarch of the Glen.” This piece comes in a nice wooden frame with burled detailing and a gold inner It is in overall very good condition. The frame measures 13.25 x 13.65 inches.
