Description: The ceramic portion of the body is 1-1/2 inches deep, 1-11/16 inches wide and 2-1/2 inches tall maximum. One of the screw mounting tabs reads, “5A-250V, 10A-125V”. The other tab has the letter “E” with an arrow through it. The bottom of the ceramic also has the letter “E” with an arrow through it and “J121”. One side of the ceramic has a sticker that reads, “Underwriter Laboratories Inspected Snap Switch”. The other side has a hand stamp that is unreadable, but may be the patent information. I used an ohm meter and there is resistance across the terminals which stope when the button is pushed, so to that extent it seems the switch still operates. The buttons are heavily covered with paint. The old owner must have been a sloppy painter. It looks like latex paint but I am not sure. I had an identical switch that was broken, and I scratched the paint off roughly and one of the black buttons had a mother of pearl insert. There is dirt. Please see the photos.
