Draughtman and author: Willem Vrolik (1801-1863), was a Dutch professor, son of Gerardus Vrolik. Together with his father he left a collection of mostly rare anatomical misformations. Subject: Antique print, titled: ''Over eene vermoedelijk tweede soort van rendier;'' - (About a possibly second species of reindeer;) Set complete with all pages of text (p.153-160) and 2 plates. The plates show the skull and antlers.Condition: Good, given age. Set is the complete loose section from an annually published Dutch scientific briefing. Images show front page and 1 plates.
