Description: Poschinger Germany Hand Painted Floral Vase DESCRIPTION I am excited to offer this beautiful Poschinger vase. It has been hand painted in enamel with a flower outlined in gold with tiny gold dots in the center. There is another flower painted up the neck, also in gold, and the stems are all painted in gold. The leaves for the flowers are done in light shades of yellow, pink, and green. The top edge of the vase is painted in a burgundy color. There was gold on the top, but it does have wear. The vase is 5" tall, and measures 3/4" at the top, and about 2 5/8" diameter at the bulbous base. In picture #6, you can see that it has been marked with a PF. This mark is for the Krystallglasfabrik Freiherr Von Poschinger company in Germany that was established in 1568. The mark dates the making to the late 1800's. This little beauty is in excellent condition. It has no chips, cracks, or breaks, and shows very little wear in the pattern. Please contact me with any questions you may have.
