This quality miniature was most likely purchased on a Grand Tour of Europe in the 1890's. Painted on a thin piece of bone. Beautiful Bronze naturalistic rare Art Nouveau Frame with foliage and a butterfly. Forest green velvet around the portrait and in the back. The back is not glued intothe portrait, and I have not removed it. There is a little hole in one side where a tiny screw is missing. Exceptional piece!! Shipping cost includes careful packing and insurance via UPS, added -signature needed.
