This is a PRETTY and ANTIQUE porcelain statue, depicting an aristocratic child, playing with his doll ( clown doll ), under the surveillance of his governess. Very rich colors, nice expressions, excellent detail. It is a heavy piece. With incised beehive mark ( shield ) at the bottom ( as shown in photos ), and number 853 and 26 ( see photos ). Please see photos carefully to admire the beauty of the work. Dimensions : H : 8 inches ( 20 cm ) W : 8 inches ( 20 cm ) D : 4 3/4 inches ( 12 cm ) Weight : 4 lbs 8.6 oz ( 2.58 kgs ). The heavy weight reflects the authenticity of the piece. Condition report : Missing what the child holds in his right hand ( see photos ). Tiny chip at the lady hat ( see photo ). No chips, cracks or any damage ( except what I mentioned ) The gold gilding highlights decoration gives more elegance and luxury to the work.
