Description: Of all the engravings I'm listing tonight, I think this one is the most beautiful. Great subject matter and wonderful detail. Her expression is perfect. By 19th century engraving master printer George Barrie. Engravings are a new category for the Cheeseheadpicker. Many have been taken from books or print folios. Some may be stand alone items. All are original to the time. All have some expected wear including some foxing. Please check out the photos for condition questions. Basically what you see, is what you get. All will be shipped in plastic sleeves with cardboard. I will combine shipping. If an auction, please wait for an invoice. If a Buy It Now listing, put them in one cart and I will refund the extra shipping charge. I've recently acquired a LARGE amount of vintage paper from a collector's estate. I will be regularly adding it to my usual listings over the coming months. There are auto manuals, military paper, railroad stuff, food and recipe paper, political pamphlets, oddball magazines, entertainment paper --- just about any paper you can think of. Some of the items are rare and seldom seen. I will listing them both as auctions and buy it now items. Some if it is in perfect shape and some is in rough condition. Things to look out for in the photos are page yellowing, corner bumping, rips and tears, handwriting, etc. --- normal flaws in old paper. I will try and point out any other flaws I find. Carefully examine my studio-quality photographs. I do my best to document any flaws or issues. I tend to go overboard in showing flaws. I hate surprises when I buy on eBay as much as you do.
