Description: Beautiful old painting in new frame. This is an original oil painting which appears to be antique based on the cracking of the paint, nails used on stretcher, and stretcher type. I'm not an expert, so the age could be off from my guess. The painting is unsigned, but has a title written in pencil on the back side of the canvas, "Mother's Favorite". I did a lot of internet research to try to find out if this was a copy of a famous painting and could not find anything that matched. I was able to find very similar styled paintings from the dutch old master school. Dimensions are 35.5" ht x 29.5" w x 3" d frame and 27" ht x 20" w canvas.
