Description: Northwood glass was made between the years of 1895-1925. Their production of carnival glass was developed after 1902 in Wheeling, West Virginia by Harry Northwood. you will find that it that the glass is thick with intricate pressed patterns on the inside and outside of the bowl. This "carnival" glass was not made to be cheap prizes at carnivals. They were meant to be in upper middle class homes that were attempting to have something more like Tiffany Glass, but more within their budget.
