Description: VintageNorthwood Carnival Glass Peacock at the Fountain Tumbler Blue Set of 3Maker - Harry Northwood began his career working in the glass industry in England. In 1881. He immigrated to the United States and opened H. Northwood in Wheeling, West Virginia, in 1902. In 1908 Northwood introduced their iridescent line, calling it "Golden Iris", the color we know as marigold. Harry Northwood died in 1918 and the factory ceased production in the early 1920's.Description - This Northwood blue carnival tumbler is the Peacock At The Fountain pattern. The motif consists of alternating panels of a peacock among flowers and a bubbling fountain, bordered by a band of raised beads near the top and base of the tumbler.Dimensions - The tumbler measures 4" in height, 2 7/8" across the top and 2 3/8" across the base.
