Description: This is an antique covered sugar bowl from Noritake. It is in the Elmwood pattern, which was introduced in 1918. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks, and just a bit of loss to the gold on the handles and lid commiserate with age and use. I have included photos of these issues. It is marked in green with the letter “M” in a wreath, and the words “Noritake -Hand Painted-Made in Japan-US Design Pat. Applied For”.
