Description: Up for sale is an Antique Nippon Sento Co. Ltd Tokyo Osaka Japanese Brass Railroad Oil Lantern!!! This is a beautiful collectible antique railroad lantern made by Nippon Sento Co, LTD. This particular one is in excellent condition for its age. It is a used piece but it is fully functional and it would display very well. It is all original and even has the original wick (which is used). There is some blackening of the inside of the lantern from use, and a very nice patina to the exterior of the piece. From what I can tell, it is missing one pin on the back side of the handle (the upper of the two copper pins that hold the handle in place). The handle is still attached, it just is missing one of the two pins. The soldering for the handle portion has begun to come apart on one side of the bottom part of the handle but the handle is still in one piece. Other than that, there are some small dings or dents throughout but nothing major. This piece measures in at 13 3/4" tall, with a 5 1/8" diameter light and being 6 1/4" deep. It weighs in at 1 pound, 14.8 ounces total. Any questions just ask, thanks for looking!
