Co. in Japan was the major producer of "Nippon" and Noritake porcelain during this time period. Nippon is a westernized version of "Ni hon" meaning Japan. Pieces were required to have a mark from their country of origin for export after the McKinley Tariff Act of 1890. Plate measures 7.25 inches in diameter. This dish is in excellent condition.
