Description: No longer doing a 1-10 number rating, as it’s subjective. Tired of the occasional “This is a 4/10, not a 7/10”. Here’s a transparent rundown, make of it what you will. Condition: Good, but some flaws to mention. Main is the crack in the stone. Not that the stone is falling out or anything, just worth pointing out. If you we’re planning to make this a daily piece, I’d recommend a professional to fix it, but otherwise, no use in that. Very old piece- this is no 1970s Revival era cuff. Just from my resources and various Paula Baxter books, I’d say this is from the 1920s, 30s at the very latest. The twisted wire, as well as the iconography, particularly the whirling log nohokos (swastikas) are a giveaway. Unknown provenance on the stone, but feast your eyes. That spiderwebbing with the gentle matrixing speaks for itself. No marks, which is typical of the era, but appears to be an ingot cuff. Acid tested, positive for silver- purity unknown, but definitely highly than continental silver. Inner circumfrence tip to tip is 5.25”. Rare piece, and a fine addition to any antique Pueblo jewelry collection. Not the type of piece you see everyday.
