Description: This is an exceptional and unusual antique Indian basket. Possibly from the Great Lakes Native Americans. Possibly Ojibwe, or possibly a Canadian First Nations tribe. The design is exceptional and I believe was Tribal Used! A rare find! This came from the estate of Aunt holly, a missionary, who was gifted this by the Indian tribe. This antique Indian basket is in an unusual, "One of a Kind" design. In the form of a bird, with a lid in the form of a baby bird. This is in amazing condition for its great age.
