The white base metal is in the form of old Battleaxe style Swords with engraved decoration and measures approx. 9" high when opened....about 9.75" long when folded for storage. I do not know much about it.... I do not know what M.S. stands for, or what the base metal is. I assume it is a portable display for a warrior's portrait.
