Description: Lovely miniature portrait on porcelain mounted in a gilt frame. This little portrait was then mounted on maroon/purplish velvet and framed in a gilt wood frame. It’s a lovely presentation overall. Likely German made after a famous Franz Wagner portrait. This and a few other miniature portraits came out of a wealthy old New England seaside estate. I’ve not removed it from its frame to check for markings on the backside of the porcelain plaque. Condition is excellent. The wood frame is approximately 4.75”x6”. Ships ASAP!
